Why conducting positive performance counseling is important – Take Care of Your Good Soldiers!

Have you ever noticed as leaders we know alot about our substandard performers but know very little about our average Soldiers and Superstars.  We need to devote as much time to our good Soldiers as we do our substandard Soldiers.  You have to get to know the PERSON behind the Soldier.  Recognize positive performance and see what happens.  I challenge you to provide a deserving Soldier a positive special achievement counseling or a letter to their parents or loved ones and watch the change begin to happen.  It builds loyalty, self esteem, team work, and morale.  Take some time with the good solid performing Soldiers…
