Simply disagree with the counseling and place your comments in the session closing block or write something like ” see attached memo” in the session closing block.

If the counseling session has already past you can write a memorandum for record and ask to have it attached to the counseling.
If this does not work you have several options that include:
- contacting the IG, Contacting JAG for potential abuse of subordinates or fraud for preparing a false document.
- If this action involved your commander you can look into filing an Article 138. These actions are not to be taken lightly. Make sure you have your facts together and prepare a professionally well structure argument that is factual and void of emotion.
You could also prepare a memo and send it via email to members of the chain of command.
